How Frieren Became the Best Anime of All Time

Описание: Frieren's anime came out 450 days ago, that's practically brand new!


I still make videos! In this one I wanted to dive deep into the production of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. Initially, I was going to make regular review video, but as time passed, I felt like I wouldn't be able to add anything unique to the praise I would give the show. Ultimately, I settled for a more informative take which was inspired The Canipa Effect's channel and UnderTheScope's video on Violet Evergarden's production history. It was really fun to make this video and reading all about Frieren. A lot of the information in this video is was taken from the Sakugabooru blog which offers invaluable information about anime production and animation concepts. I highly recommend giving their posts a read on any anime you find interesting!

As always, it was mentally exhausting mustering up the strength to will this video into existence (Exactly 8 months from start to finish Apr 21 - Dec 21). While I am not happy that I spent this long on the video, I am happy how it turned out. I want this video to be the benchmark for all of my videos moving forward, but I may consider making "lower effort" videos that are purely reviews of anime or other media I've consumed. It's been my resolution for 3 years now to make consistent videos, so hopefully 2025 will be different! Thanks for reading all of this if you made it to the end haha
