Watch while I make an herb infused vinegar from hawthorn berries from Sister Sage farm . Thanks for coming to our channel.
I forgot to mention that I shake the jar a couple of times a day. I will leave the herbs in there for at least 2 weeks and then strain it out with a cheese cloth type bag to get the most out of it.
The recipe I made ended up being about 1 cup of herbs and 3 cups of vinegar. If I used dried herbs only, I would need closer to 4 cups of vinegar in order to completely cover the herbs. Hope you enjoy it!
