This garage door had a torsion spring break on the left side (standing inside garage looking at door). I was able to purchase the below spring from one of the family owned hardware store.
Hillman 852145 Garage Door Torsion Spring (right Wind, 7 ft High Doors)
Wire Diameter .243”
Inside Diameter 2”
Length 32”
Price $58.99 plus tax
Fortunate for me there were marking on one of the older springs that was previously installed which assisted me in finding the correct spring.
These were the steps that I took to replace the Torsion Spring. I am not a professional garage door installer, so please do your own research and follow the manufactures instructions. If you don't feel comfortable in performing this task contact a professional.
