This short film is based on true events that happened during my first term at university in London. Coming from a place so far away (Indonesia), everyone around you sounds like a London expert, and unfortunately this mindset led me to trust just about anyone I met.

The film idea was a result of some late night thoughts in my journal; it's conversational, funny, angry, and relatable. I wanted to showcase locations around my university (Kingston) as these are real places I've walked along during my time here and also some iconic London sites, including the Big Ben, Primrose Hill, and the underground. With mixed media animation, I wanted to enhance the storyline, making it more self-aware and more "me". I wanted to include all kinds of media, including fully digitally animated scenes. My time at university--dealing with friends and new school environments--has been messy, uncertain and scatterbrained, and I wanted the mixed media to display that.

FULL OF SH*T isn't about a dramatic betrayal or a cute, meet-cute romance, it's about learning to trust yourself, choosing who's being real and who's just full of sh*t.
