Mainly to check 'fast charge ' is working when you charge a device.
This device has various names : USB Detector / tester etc.
The most basic will at least test ... Voltage (volts) and Current (amps) ... Power = V x A (watts)
The basic default of most devices has been 5v and 1a (5 watts power)
But new phones and laptops can charge at much higher watts (faster).
