Installation of cup hinges using DrillJig and Accura templates made by Hettich

Описание: This video shows how to install hinges to a cabinet using the DrillJig for hinges and the Accura Drill Housing. Both tools allow for very quick, yet precise installation.

The first step is to drill the hinge cup holes into the door using the DrillJig. The distance of the cup holes to each other, as well as their distance to the upper and lower edge of the door is then being transferred to the Accura template. Accura also allows to set the overlay of the door on the cabinet sides. This way it is also very simple to drill the System 32 holes for mounting plates into the cabinet side.

In this example, the Sensys hinges are mounted on distance D = 1.5 mm mounting plates on 19 mm side panels. Doors have a 3 mm reveal / 16 mm overlay and a distance of the 35 mm cup hole to the edge of C = 5 mm. In case these measurements need to be adjusted to other requirements, the jigs and templates must be set accordingly.
