Himachali cusine# akhrot and poppy seed SIDDU
ingredients :
For Dough :-
3cups wheat flour( atta)
1tsp dry yeast
1tsp salt
water for kneading dough
2-3 tsp (Luke warm water for activating yeast )
mint leaves( optional)
method :
knead the soft dough adding yeast and water and make it to rest for 4-5 hrs or overnight.
knead it again after it get fermented and apply oil over it.

For Stuffing :-
1cup soaked walnut
1cup soaked poppy seeds
1/2 cup soaked almonds
1/2 cup soaked peanut
one small piece ginger
dhania 3-4 bunch
mint leaves (few)
green chilli (optional)
salt (acc. to taste)
garam masala 1tsp
black pepper 1tsp
red chilli powder (acc. to taste)
chat masala (optional)
method :
grind all the ingredients without using water.
now fill this dry stuffing in your siddu recepie.
you can increase or decrease the quantity of ingredients acc. to your taste.
you can choose any stuffing of your own choice.
