Outside of a Matt Shaw solo HR, the Cubs were kept in check by new Reds acquisition Zach Litell, despite a great outing by Shota Imanaga. The Cubs bullpen was awful again and it’s to the point where Kap legitimately is concerned about the Cubs making the playoffs. Yes, that’s right. Kap and everyone is confused and dumbfounded by how bad the offense looks, led by Kyle Tucker. Unless the Cubs get it fixed, this could get worse before it gets better.
