Next, we proceed with the know-how of TESDA and a review of the meaning and importance of National Certification. We then go next to a review of bookkeeping essentials - default sides of assets, liabilities, capital, income, and expenses. A review of asset accounts ensues, followed by liabilities and equity, explained in connection with bookkeeping. The next modules were then tackled - How entries are made, Periodic vs Perpetual style, Closing entries, Financial Statements

Stock Market Videos:

Videos on Stocks are founded on Value Investing and Fundamentals, using the Value Growth Perspective of Warren Buffett, and the Margin of Safety principles of Benjamin Graham. Peter Lynch and William O'Neil have also been major influences. Instead of stock picking, these videos focus on companies and portfolio management. We do not buy it and then sell it tomorrow. As much as possible, we don't trade; rather, we invest for the long haul. We use economic indicators to view things from the grander perspective. We use technical analysis to check the "when" part of buying, though it is a small percentage of investment. Of stocks, my favorite holding period is forever. Wherefore, we only buy those companies within our circle of competence, and those with sound management and integrity. Count in the economic moat and we're ready to go. The Buffett clone is almost complete.

100 MEANINGFUL DAYS

100 Meaningful Days was a self-imposed challenge I did back in 2013 for the OTHER social media platform, where I wrote insights for 100 straight days. After many "100 days", it became "365 days". It is actually reminiscent of "A Thought A Day", and like books, my mom used to buy for me as a young boy. I literally grew up reading one insight at least a day. When I started "preaching" for my little soldiers in the Legion of Mary (before, when I was still a good guy), I had to prepare "meaningful stories" for "my kids" every week. Some of those stories I still teach my students. Some I have quite forgotten. It's a modern version of 1000 Arabian Nights I guess.

This is a re-enactment of sorts to bring to as many people as possible these thoughts and insights. I remember Dom Toretto of the F&F series said in one movie in the series - that life is made up of many quarter-mile runs. In a way, this is my own series of quarter-mile runs.
