Each year at The Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney, 10,000 women receive care and treatment, 4,000 babies are born, 1,000 premature and critically ill newborns are treated in the NICU, 1,000 cycles of chemotherapy are administered.
The Royal has a long and proud heritage in Australia as a pioneer in women’s and newborn health and leads the way with research and clinical practices that have been replicated around the world.
