I Practice Balancing Flavors

Описание: In this video, I make Bad-Boy Hash. A breakfast dish that helps me practice balancing flavors. When you understand balancing flavors you can really freestyle your way into making delicious food with whatever ingredients. Even though this video was how to not go by recipes I will still put the recipe I have so far. Subscribe if you want to watch more!!

Bad-Boy Hash - Recipe

1 Inch slice - Sourdough Bread
1 Medium Gold Potato - Diced
1 Egg -
4 Maple Sausage Links - Cut in 1/4 inches
1/4 cup - Chopped Chives
2 Tablespoons - Thyme
1 Tablespoon - Rosemary
1 Tablespoon - Cayenne pepper
To taste- Salt and Black Pepper
1 Cut Lemon
1 Tablespoon - Butter for Potatoes
1 Tablespoon -Butter for Bread
1 Tablespoon - Olive Oil

Use two Skillets or a Saute pan - Make sure one has a lid

1. Cook Sausages and cut into pieces
2. Heat up the Pans to Medium and let the pan get hot first
3. Butter, Olive Oil & Thyme
4. Add Potatoes
5. Add Salt and Pepper and Cayenne Pepper
6. Add Lemon Juice to Taste
7. Start Cooking your bread on Medium with butter
8. Once the potatoes are brown, add sausages and create a group in the middle of the Pan with spaces between each bit
9. Add Egg in the Middle and cover
10. Once Bread is Golden Brown Remove from Heat and place on a plate
11. Remove Hash from Heat and Place on top of bread.
12. Top With Chives and Serve


Disclaimer - The measurements are pretty general so I would take them with a grain of salt (see what I did there?) Use them kind of as guide and season to taste. Trust yourself to make it taste the way you want it. Have Fun and Happy Feasting!
