Описание: (4 Jul 1994) Jubilant rebels captured the Rwandan capital of Kigali and the
last major government-held southern town of Butare on Monday (4/7)
and vowed to press on with their advance in the face of French
troops under orders to halt them by force. Rwanda Patriotic Front
(RPF) rebel forces pushed into the heart of shell-blasted Kigali
shortly after daybreak following two days of intense artillery
bombardment of government positions.
