Описание: In a major development in the Sabarimala gold theft case, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has recorded the statement of Malayalam actor Jayaram. According to sources, Jayaram told investigators that he was not aware of what ultimately happened to the Dwarapalaka gold panels.

He admitted to a close association with Unnikrishnan Potti, saying he met him during the Makaravilakku season and later hosted him at his Chennai residence. Jayaram confirmed that a pooja was performed at his home when the gold panels were brought there.

The actor also said he attended another pooja at Smart Creations, the firm involved in gold plating, but denied having any knowledge about the company’s sponsors or the final handling of the panels.

The SIT will now verify Jayaram’s statement and check for any inconsistencies as the investigation continues.
