Most trap bases fail because they’re loud. One shotgun blast and the entire neighbourhood knows what’s happening. But after Rust buffed elevator speed, I turned one of the most “accidental” mechanics in the game into a completely silent trap base.
With some engineering and a bit of bait, this elevator trap crushed geared players instantly.
it worked perfectly… until we caught the wrong group.
What started as a silent elevator trap turned into a full wipe war involving roof camping, raids, and a neighbour meltdown that ended their entire run.
