The Wudang Kung Fu method of training includes The Eight Pieces of Brocade and practicing it with a handful of stances and footwork as it's foundation. There are different traditions of Wudang that may teach these components in different orders or by different means, or may have a different primary focus. Understand that Kung Fu is an art form.
This is what I personally recommend as the second logical step to add after initially learning the foundation (The Eight Pieces of Brocade.) You should work on the content of that video first so that you are at least able to remember it without the video before adding this part of it. That being said, however, if you include this in your practice it will accelerate your progress with developing the internal motions of the 8 Brocade because you are working your hips and spine at different angles.
As with anything else, if it hurts then stop. I do not take responsibility if you overdo it or if you fail to listen to your body. Gently remind yourself to relax and breathe and keep your posture while you practice.
