Flemings superpower on ball is his ability to start/stop quicker than the man guarding him. He consistently creates space to get his jumper off, where he's 41.3% on non-rim attempts.
At rim, Flemings is shooting 72.7% on 66 attempts, making him one of just three high-major freshman 6'4" or shorter to shoot over 70% at the rim on more than 50 attempts.
There's star on-ball guard potential. Flemings struggled with his shot early in the game but continued to hunt and closed out a game against a top 15 team with multiple makes in crunch time.
Defensively, Flemings is one of just seven high-major underclassmen to post a steal percentage over four and block percentage over one, pointing to an advanced understanding of defense and the requisite athleticism to generate turnovers and stops.
He slides his feet extremely well on ball, often mirroring the steps of his man and cutting off driving angles.
I thought there was a few instances of Flemings falling asleep off ball, but overall, the defense is impressive.
Flemings is a top-five prospect for me in the 2026 NBA Draft, and there's an argument to be made that no one is closer to cracking the established top three of Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer, and AJ Dybantsa than Kingston Flemings.
