Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, Army Commander Western Command, visited the Indian Military Academy, where he addressed the Officer Cadets and emphasised the enduring values of discipline, honour and selfless service. His address inspired future leaders to uphold the ethos of the Indian Army and strive for excellence in their journey towards becoming officers, guided by the IMA Motto ‘Veerta aur Vivek’.
During the visit, the Army Commander also engaged with the Commandant and faculty, reviewing key facets of training, leadership development and infrastructure, reaffirming a shared commitment towards grooming professionally competent, morally upright and mission-ready officers.
He also commended the staff for their outstanding performance, awarding them Commendation Cards in recognition of their exemplary service and dedication.
