An open bolt, blow back 9mm sub machine gun. the main infantry SMG for the German army of ww2. widely issued and used on every front the axis power of Germany fought on. fed from a double stack single feed magazine, it was mass produced and cheap to manufacture. often issued to squad leaders, squad deputies and sometimes even picked up from a fallen comrade, the mp40 was at the front of every battle. even captured mp40's made their way back into battle and used against Germany itself by the soviet army that was constantly lacking supplies. as featured on forgotten weapons, administrative results and so many more, the Germany mp40 machine pistol is one of the most terrifying guns to encounter. how would you compare this gun to the M3 Grease gun? how would the mp40 stand up against the M1 Thompson SMG or even the British Sten gun. the Ppsh-41 was one of its most terrifying opponents in battle. a true legend in the lost history of weapons
