This specific HVAC system is so basic even the users manual doesn't mention it!
This is our 2006 Town and Country LX 3.3 LWB van. It's so base model it lacks every power option except windows, locks, steering, and cruise. No rear HVAC, no dual climate, nothing but the most simple settings possible.
I've only seen this specific setup in the junkyard a few times and mostly in the ram panel vans or some super basic vans.
This generation of van uses servos to activate the different climate control settings, and unexpected power changes (dead or pulled battery) can throw off the calibration.
To recalibrate this specific style of HVAC (so you don't actually need to watch my terrible video): set vent selector to face ("panel" in the manual), set fan speed to max, turn ignition to on but don't start. Press and hold the rear wiper activate button and the AC on button for 5 seconds. If you did everything right, all four lights (rear wiper, rear defrost, recirculation, and aircon) will light up for a few seconds, and then the rear wiper & aircon lights will toggle every second until calibration is complete.
I'm not sure if you actually need to confirm the calibration once done and if so not sure what buttons to push but the recalibration did work for me.
