Architect Heather E. Lewis, AIA, NCARB, joined Animal Arts in August 2000, and has since become a principal in the firm. She is experienced in the front-end development of animal shelter projects and has completed needs assessments for several projects including the Orange County Animal Services Facility in Orange County, North Carolina, and the People for Animal Welfare in Decorah, Iowa. Heather has managed the drawing, production, and construction administration for several LEED projects, including Farmington Animal Control in New Mexico and the Denver Municipal Animal Shelter. Heather is also an equine and large animal expert.
