How to turn your mountainboard or longboard into a wingskate.
Remove the bindings.
Get your all weather traction foam from windpimp.com. - Your boots will stick without straps even in snow, slush conditions. Ice will not slow you down.
You can put wind pimp blades on your mountainboards, but they wont perfom as a true windpimp wingskate. It all comes down to the board shape.
Wind Pimp wingskates were designed with a oversized rocker shape from the ice up to be wingskates. The CUSTOM FLEX ROCKER keeps you on the board, and your blades on the ice... even on bumpy ice conditions.
Mountainboards are designed completely opposite using a CAMBER shape that is designed to give you pop and lift. Works great for jumping but not so much for high performance speed riding. The kiters working on jumps may enjoy the extra pop/lift at the cost of overall stability.
