This is the Pipes and Drums of The Highlanders, 4th Battalion, Royal Regiment of Scotland (4 SCOTS) playing a medley at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow on 18 August 2018.
The medley comprises:
Atholl Highlanders [original attributed to Lady Charlotte Murray]
The Skylark's Ascension [Pipe Corporal Archibald Lindsay]
Ian McMaster [Lincoln Hilton]
Anada pa Gael [José Manuel Tejedor]
J F McKenzie Esq of Garrynahine [W J Ross]
Fleshmarket Close [Michael Grey]
The band was competing in the Grade 3A competition. A total of 24 bands competed. The Highlanders were placed first in their heat of 12 bands (playing this medley) and came 6th overall - an excellent result as the band had only been promoted to Grade 3A this season.
