The WD6002FZWX was a member of the WD Black series in 2016-2018 which featured many different drives, including WD-branded HGST ones like...the WD6002FZWX itself. There were also actual WD designs used like the WD6001FZWX, but the subject of this video is its HGST-based relative.

All of the WD Blacks at this time which used HGST designs were based on the Aries-KP platform, which pretty much only encompassed two WD Black models: the WD4004FZWX and WD6002FZWX. Sporting four and five platters respectively, these two saw a fair amount of time under the series before being eventually succeeded by newer Blacks upon a new Vela platform.

It's a shame WD decided to go all in with HGST designs after 2018; not a single new high-end platform from WD themselves would be released without it being an HGST design. I could only image what a true high-end WD design at the time of writing would look like had they decided not to acquire HGST, though.
