In yet another setback to Congress, former Goa Chief Minister and seven-time MLA, Luizinho Faleiro, dumped the grand old party and joined TMC in Kolkata. Faleiro was inducted into the party by Mamata's nephew and Trinamool National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee. Faleiro had earlier met with Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee who welcomed him into the TMC. Faleiro said that his mission is to defeat the BJP, accusing it of divisive politics. He also claimed that he wants to unite Congress family and that is why he has joined the TMC. The jolt to Congress in Goa comes amid chaos in its Punjab unit. Watch this report for more.
