Sam, Derek, and the Island Song Team are proud to be donating 20% of their proceeds from ticket sales to the New York City Firefighter Brotherhood Foundation for their Sandy outreach effort. Donations benefit rescuers who risked their lives to save others during Sandy only to return to their own destroyed homes in Breezy Point, The Rockaways, Staten Island, and throughout the five boroughs.
This concert comes at a time when we are all especially aware that New Yorkers are on islands--and also at a time when we are reminded of the human resilience that Island Song celebrates. We're excited to move forward with the presentation, hope that it will resonate more than ever, and that it be an opportunity to help with a worthy cause.
We hope that you'll join us on November 12th, 7pm (6pm doors) at Le Poisson Rouge to celebrate New York, New Yorkers, and our irrepressible spirit.
