The "Handover generation," or "Retrocession generation," who feel neither Chinese nor British, are setting on a journey to explore their identities and start political movements in order to fight for their right to universal suffrage— a right once promised to them by Beijing but now denied.

This documentary features their historical endeavors, ideas and challenges, including some of the most prominent young politicians: Wai-Ching Yau, Martin Lee, Nathan Law, and Joshua Wong.
