I've been on the hunt for the best airgun for under $200 for some time, and I believe I've finally found it. The new Hatsan Mod 95 Vortex impressed me from the very first shot. Unlike most magnum spring and gas ram guns that have noticable recoil, the Mod 95 had little to no recoil to speak of. It shoots so smoothly, that in the right conditions, you can see the pellet travel to the target. I'm testing the .25 cal version in this review and it delivers on every critical point; it's accurate, it's powerful, and it's easy to shoot. And, it's currently selling for just under $200. That's why I happy to give it the title of currently the "Best airgun for under $200 bucks."
