Gold Diggings Quarry is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The crystal clear waters of the quarry are reputed to be toxic but no official signs were present on my trip and I’d spoke to locals who said they swim often. I’d also watched lots of videos on Youtube of people jumping into and scuba diving the quarry. The water quality is up for debate, I don’t know the actual truth around it but I made a personal decision to enter the water and i’m not encouraging you to do the same, do your own research, of which this video should not form part of.
