Here I show the painting process to create these two semi abstract watercolour paintings in my sketchbook. I am painting based on memory and photos and thinking of ways to abstract the landscape as I go. Do you have photos of a particular area you love of memories from a special place?. By not thinking too much and following a few basic ideas I think you can quickly get some ideas down which will then generate new ideas!. I talk about wet on wet work and building up later layers using aquapasto. Below I list some other tutorials using this fantastic watercolour medium.

Winsor and Newton watercolours: Burnt Sienna, Winsor Lemon, and French Ultra Marine and Yellow Ochre.
