Greg Nussen - Writer, film curator and performer based in Los Angeles. He writes articles for American magazines Slant, In Review Online, Salon, Vague Visages, The Harbour Journal, Knock-LA, The Servant. In 2022, he was awarded the New York Film Critics Circle Graduate Criticism award. He has collaborated with AFI Fest, Seattle International Film Festival, HollyShorts and the Brooklyn Film Festival.
In collaboration with Kaja Klimek, a well-known Polish film critic and film educator, Culture.pl presents a series of three short interviews recorded during The 49th Polish Film Festival in Gdynial. Through these conversations, international guests share their unique perspectives on Polish cinema, discussing its distinctive qualities, hidden nuances, and cultural reflections.
They offer insights into how Polish films are perceived abroad, what they reveal about Poland, and which films they consider to be true classics. This series aims to explore fresh, diverse views on Polish cinema, deepening the understanding of its global impact and cultural significance.
