The SPE Solid Phase Extraction system is available in configurations of 48/96 and 144. For the purpose of this demo, the system used here is the 144 speX series Positive Pressure Manifold manufactured by Takahe Analytical Instruments.
The system consists of UP/DN valves to raise and lower the platform, numbered cartridge and collection racks and includes 2 waste bins with 1 waste rack for the purpose of washing and conditioning the columns.
The flow meter and the regulator are used to manage the nitrogen flow for the speed of elution.
Nitrogen required for 48 samples is approx 10 lpm
