Today is a Magic Kingdom day — built around flexibility, strong afternoon momentum, and making the most of our time before the park closes early for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Originally, we had other plans for the day, but we pivot and head to Magic Kingdom instead. Without rope dropping, we stack a high-capacity afternoon filled with rides, shows, and time together. Because this is a Christmas Party evening, regular day guests must exit the park at 6:30pm — which shapes how we approach the day from the start.

We intentionally skip a midday resort break and structure the afternoon carefully, even leveraging our dinner reservation timing to extend our park time slightly. It’s a shorter day on paper, but it feels full — proof that a substantial Magic Kingdom day doesn’t have to mean open-to-close exhaustion.
