This recording is about the examples of psutil [1], which is a cross-platform Python library for process and system utilities module. You can see some example code snippets on its webpage when using it in your project.
It has some sample codes, and they are all functional ans usable as tools or utilities already, here is the list:
(0:01) disk_usage.py
(0:03) free.py
(0:06) iotop.py
(0:12) killall.py
(0:16) meminfo.py
(0:20) netstat.py
(0:28) nettop.py
(0:35) pmap.py
(0:48) process_detail.py
(0:53) top.py
(1:00) who.py
There are only two not working well, iotop.py, not sure about the exception. As for who.py, my system isn't configured to log those information, so empty output. Technically, only the iotop.py has hiccups.
psutil first released as version 0.1.0 (2009-01-07), five years ago.
