[Blue Archive] We Are the Occult Investigation Society! - Challenge Stages 1-3: 3* + Achievements

For Challenge 1, you're supposed to protect Eri and help her clear out her pursuers. This is very similar to the Hyakki Swimsuit event where you protect Kikyou's nap. For this, you need to be fast: you need to trigger Eri running away at 1:30. This is because there is roughly a 10 sec delay between Eri running away and the stage ending. Therefore, you wanna clear the mob waves quickly. Having multiple AoE DPS and/or Rio will help you here. For my case, I used Rio, Niya and Hanako Swimsuit to clear out the mobs. Team used:

Challenge 2 is the standard "beat the current event students" stage. For this event, it's the new Wildhunt duo, Eri and Kanoe. Eri is easily sniped off by a decently built Hasumi Track, so all you need to do is deal with Kanoe. Kanoe has high Def and can cleanse debuffs, so it's just timing as usual. If your Piercing DPS is solid, this is an easy win. Even my Nonomi can do it lmao. Team used:

Challenge 3, again, has a cheese clear and a proper clear. The proper clear is required if you want to clear the Pyro achievement. But before that, I'll brief you on the cheese clear if you cannot do the proper clear:
somehow survive for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, the shield on the Bear drops
then, repo your DPS to target the Bear, and instantly snipe the Bear

This will get you the clear. If you're fast enough, you can make it for the 190 sec requirement for the 3* clear. However, you will never be able to get the achievement.

I will be clearing Challenge 3 the intended way: by using 4 different AoE DPS. The gimmick here is as such: there are Sweepers with all 4 different armor types. They can only be damaged by attack types that they are weak against, eg. only Mystic students can damage Special armored Sweepers. There are 4 Sweepers, one for each armor type, on the top side of the bridge. Dealing damage to Sweepers with a specific armor will fill up the HP of the corresponding stationary Sweeper. Once their HP is filled up, the stationary Sweeper will walk away from the bridge. Once all 4 Sweepers walk away from the bridge, the Sweepers will all disappear and you will face the Bear and its Rabbit minions.

Basically, you just need to kill a certain amount of Sweepers of each armor type, and then kill the Bear

For this clear, my AoE choices are:
Explosive: Aru. My Aru is UE30, strong enough for this task
Piercing: Nonomi. Her 5 cost is a bit high, but she's my best option
Mystic: Chise. She is a bit difficult to use, because her AoE is damage over time, but with proper Sweeper control, you can kill off everything
Sonic: Niya. She does enough damage for this task, surprisingly, and she has cost recovery to boot

The last 2 will be filled up with a tank, a healer and a way to reposition the tank. Either you use Serina or a self-repositioning tank. My choices are:
Aoba. She can reposition, but also, she does Sonic damage. This means I have AA damage for all 4 attack types!
Shigure Hot Spring. I don't use her EX at all, her Basic healing is more than enough. Also, she has CDmg Sub

The way you deal with the Sweepers is as follows:
First, reposition your tank to the center of the area, to gather all Sweepers around your tank
Then, use your AoE DPS to clear out the Sweepers. If possible, prioritize the armor type that have the most Sweepers on the field at that moment
Note that your tank will run around the field when swarmed by the Sweepers. Periodically reposition your tank back to the center of the field to ensure the Sweepers stay within the center area to wipe them out efficiently

If done correctly, you should be done with the Sweepers around 2 minutes into the stage. Then, just kill the Bear before you hit 170 sec. Simple as that!

I failed to clear Challenge EX yet again. I do not have enough damage output to clear it sadge
