Rush Hour | The Cinematography of Vagrant Story
I'm not sure how many people will find this subject interesting, but I've always been enamored with the camera design of Vagrant Story. I recorded three hours of unscripted rambling and managed to condense it to under 20 minutes. It's still mostly rambling, but I just felt like gabbing about one of my favorite games.
Hopefully, with this video, people can see where I'm coming from when I discuss modern JRPGs. This gem of a game set the bar 25 years ago, and few RPGs released since then can match it. Which isn't so bad, since I'm more than happy to replay all these wonderful PS1 era RPGs by Square for the rest of my years. I'd love to review more of them in the future.
