I saw The Heavy Heavy with Judy Blank at Garcia's on July 30, 2025 and had to share this.
This UK duo blends rock, soul, folk, and psych in a way that somehow works perfectly. Georgie Fuller's voice is incredible in person, and the band they've built around their songs just hits different live.
They've only got one album and an EP out, but they're already selling out venues and playing festivals like Bonnaroo and Newport Folk. Makes sense once you hear them - one song sounds like the Stones, the next could be Fleetwood Mac, then they throw in some country twang.
If you're into well-crafted songs that don't stay in one lane, give this a watch. Garcia's was a perfect room for them - not too big, great sound, and you can actually feel what they're doing up there.
