In today’s vlog, we continue exploring Sri Lanka as we travel from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya — one of the most beautiful routes in the country.

We begin our morning in Kandy, head back to the hotel, film a little chatty GRWM where I talk about our plan for the day, and then check out to begin our journey.

Our first stop is the iconic Ambuluwawa Tower — the climb is absolutely wild! The staircase gets super narrow near the top, and we literally have to go back and forth to make our way up. But the panoramic views make everything worth it.

After the climb, we take a cozy coffee break at Java Lounge, and then continue our drive toward Nuwara Eliya. On the way, we visit the beautiful Hanuman Kovil/Temple, stop at lush tea gardens, enjoy a tea tasting session, and soak in the gorgeous hillside scenery.

Once we reach Nuwara Eliya, we check into our hotel, get ready, and head straight to Ashok Vatika (Sita Kovil) — the sacred place connected to the Ramayana story. We end our day peacefully at Gregory Lake watching the calm sunset vibes.
