Neural interfaces can modify how the brain interacts with the body. They enable the paralyzed to move prosthetic arms, and alleviate symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Future uses include pain control and the ability to restore vision in the blind. Neural engineers, physicians, and students discuss how the Neural Interfaces Conference propels the field forward.
