Zeb - The Motorcycle Riding Dog

Описание: Come ride along with Zeb as he travels around Dallas. Zeb feels right at home on the back of a bike. He is "Bad to the Bone".

I taught Zeb to stay in the seat by cutting down a cardboard box to the size of the seat and made him sit in it. Then I made him jump on and off the bike. Later I placed the box on the seat and that was it!

The seat is made from ¾" plywood covered with black vinyl and padded cushion on the inside. I use to "secure" him to the seat with a homemade "quick release system" which consisted of two leashes attached to two flimsy key rings; hooked to two eyelets at the backrest. If we would fall or he would jump out, those things would immediately snap. It was more meant as a psychological tie down, so Zeb would know he couldn't go anywhere other than stay put. The seat itself is strapped onto the motorcycle with two heavy duty black rubber bungee cords. Meanwhile two years later, I stopped "tying" him to the seat since he never made an attempt to get out. Zeb REALLY likes to ride. No joke. I can't go anywhere without him anymore.

Not all dogs are "reliable" to do this. Most breeds are but there are some that just aren't cut out. Some take a lot of training, some, like Zeb, get it right away. Patience will take you a long way but never forget, dogs are living creatures who have different agendas. So if you're not a 1000 % sure, DO NOT ATTEMPT!
