2D Magnetostatic Simulation of EMB Using Ansys Maxwell — Lesson 5

Описание: In this video lesson, we cover the steps to create a 2D model of an electromagnetic brake (EMB) system from previously created 3D model. We will discuss how to identify symmetry in the model and use it to create a 2D model. We will compare the results of the 3D and 2D models of an EMB system to learn how 2D analysis of a geometry drastically reduces the number of mesh elements and simulation time while providing similar results.
