Just to be clear, I very much recommend that you work with your doctor and follow your doctor's advice regarding colonoscopies. Colonoscopies are a very important way to monitor inflammatory/disease activity and are very important for preventing/diagnosing colon cancer, which can help inform any necessary treatment and improve outcomes. Just also be aware that colonoscopy prep can impact the gut microbiome and it may be worth putting extra focus into improving and fortifying your gut microbiome after having a colonoscopy procedure.
