Mushroom foraging always feels like a treasure hunt - you never quite know what you’re going to find! It’s one of my favourite autumn activities. In this video I’ll show you some of the fascinating mushrooms I came across, including a possible Destroying Angel, Birch Polypore and Hedgehog mushrooms.

As the days grow shorter and the evenings darker, getting outside - rain or shine - helps lift my mood. I find foraging grounding and mindful; being present with nature, listening to the crunch of leaves under my feet and the whisper of wind through the trees. I didn’t feel my best when I started the day, but by the end, I felt so much lighter. Nature really is healing.
