Streets of Rage (also known as Bare Knuckle) is a simple little Final Fight homage/ripoff/clone by Sega. You take the role of some ex-cops to take to cleaning up the city themselves.
Later games added new characters and gameplay elements, and refined things a bit, but the original is still my favorite. It's simple, and at times unfair, but still fun.
Oh, and it has probably the greatest soundtrack of the 16 bit generation. You could probably put it in the top 10 of video game soundtracks. The music drives the action at times when the gameplay would otherwise bore you. In fact, the music is the main reason I'm making these videos.
Will I finish the game up? Maybe. The final level in particular is INCREDIBLY hard, and I'm not sure I can beat it. I'll try.
