Hi Knitters! Hannah here with part one in my series on how to make a ribbed knitted beanie on your knitting machine. This tutorial is actually handy for machine and hand knitters alike because I walk you through how to create a ribbed hat using my Taitexma TH160 Knitting Machine & TR160 Ribber (this is a midgauge machine that's 6mm)
ABOUT:
Yarn: This has is knit with Brown Sheep Nature Spun Yarn in worsted weight, which is 100% US Wool in Bit of Blue.
Tension: Main Bed - T6 1/3 & Ribber - T6 1/3
Measurements: Hat is 14" long when lain flat. Once seamed, hat is ~13" long unrolled, or 7 3/4" long when the brim is double rolled. This hat is designed to fit adult heads (~20" - 23" in circumference).
Gauge: 24.5 rows X 29 stitches = 4" x 4" (10cm X 10cm)
Thank you all for joining me on this project knitters. If you have any questions, leave a comment. Happy crafting!
