Freud - The Psychoanalytic Approach and Why I Don't Like It

Описание: Let's explore Freudian psychology: its roots, what it says about the structure of personality and how people develop into adults, the therapeutic techniques, a couple case studies, and finally, WHY I THINK IT'S A BAD THEORY AND BAD SCIENCE.

Please keep in mind that when I'm talking about less-than-uber manly dads, gender identity (specifically boy or girl and if they have a penis or not), breastfeeding issues, etc. I'm doing this from inside the Freudian model (remember the teaching technique I mentioned). I do not agree with the Freudian, psychoanalytic approach. I do not like the explicit (or implicit) stances on a lot of issues. But I feel its important to talk about this theory so people can understand it, see some of the (IMO) darker parts of it, so they can decide for themselves.
