Pavagadh is a hill near Halol in the Panchmahal district of the state of Gujarat in the western part of India. At the foot of this hill lies the historic village of Champaner, the one-time capital of Gujarat, and due to the temple of Mahakali Mata on the top of this hill, this place is considered one of the holy places of pilgrimage in Gujarat.
