The DTF-24H4 and DTF-24H2 are automatic, high-volume direct-to-film printers that bust through hundreds of transfers in minutes!

First it prints your full color design with white coverage on top, then the transfers travel on a warmed bed to the powder station. This powder is the glue that will bind your transfer to your shirt.

The powder is automatically, evenly distributed to each print. The excess powder is then beaten off the transfer film.

Next, the transfers travel through a dryer belt where the ink and powder are set. Then, they are wound up into a nice manageable roll.

Your DTF transfers can now be cut up, applied to shirts or sold as is!
DTF transfers can be applied to a variety of different fabrics like cotton, polyester and blends. We also like to decorate different accessories like hats and tote bags.

White toner printing is another super popular way to print t-shirt transfers. This method contains toner, instead of a liquid ink. So there is no maintenance involved. However, these machines print transfers slower and usually there is a heat press process involved that adds adhesive to the transfer.

These machines, like the DigitalHeat FX System, can come at a lower price tag and some models start around 4k.

Is a 2 head or 4 head printer right for you?
The number of print heads in a commercial direct to film printer makes a big difference in how fast it can print.

But more heads and a faster print speed also mean a bigger printer AND a longer dryer.

It's best to determine what your business production will be like before deciding on what printer is best for you. If you already have several t-shirt jobs lines up, or intend to sell t-shirt transfers at a large scale, the 4 head direct-to-film printer might be a better fit for you.
