So I did a few searches of YouTube and I'm fairly certain not only that Drew & Amy have NEVER been vidded before, not even in a collab part lol, but also that Drew himself has like no fanvideos on YouTube. There are no Drew/Sarah specific videos around the way there are some Amber/Sarah vids, and no Amber/Drew specific videos either... despite that being a pretty popular sibling relationship amongst fans of the show, especially the older teenagers/young adults who often are the people who are vidders.
So um... here's to me making the first fanvid on YouTube, as far as I can tell, that is 50% Drew. No other vid has this much of him in it. As far as I can tell. And Drew/Amy really had never been vidded before. Which I kind of think is a crime.

And in the process of writing it, I was re-watching a lot of Parenthood scenes, especially Drew/Amy from episode 4x13 "Small Victories". I've written 4 chapters of the fic (my first ever Parenthood fic!) so far; it'll probably be about 6 chapters total when it's completed. Anyway... I was sort of in a major Drew/Amy mood because of that fic I was writing.

Also, I've been re-watching a lot of Parenthood in general these past few months, as I've been vidding the show more - a by product of me starting the Parenthood collab group ParenthoodProdz earlier this year.

And um... our next collab, which if all goes well I'll be able to post tomorrow night, will be about the vast majority of the romantic couples/ships on the show. And I run the group and decided to pick my couple last, and pick whichever one no one else wanted. Drew/Amy seemed to be that couple, which was pretty good for me, seeing as I kinda love their cute awkwardness throughout all of season 3. I relate to Drew so much and I think he's my favorite character. So it's nice to have the chance to vid them. I made my parts for the collab - 2 short Drew/Amy parts - yesterday. And I realized how much I really liked vidding them, and kinda wanted to make a full video about them. Then today, I saw in my YouTube subscriptions Tyler Ward's new video, the posting of this cover of this song. It got me ALL inspired. I've been really wanting to vid a male-POV cover of this song for some ship and all the pieces just fell into place today. I had nothing else to do this Saturday... so I actually made this entire vid in 1 sitting. It was crazy and I only had to cut the song a little. I hope no one completely hates my song cuts. I know they're a little awkward if you know the song well already, which most people do... :P
