It's a common belief that Kärcher's Pressure Washer range uses more water than a standard garden hose due to the increased water pressure. In this experiment, we aim to debunk the myth and show that they actually save up to 80% water compared to a garden hose.
To do so, we filled up a 20L water drum and marked it by litre and washed a standard sized car to test how much water was used. We then compared the results by multiplying the time it took to wash the car by 25L per minute, as this is how much water a garden hose uses.
The results showed a massive 50L water saving by using the Kärcher K4 Pressure Washer.
