Cycling from Porto Garibaldi to Ravenna was a pleasant coastal ride through the heart of the Po Delta wetlands and along parts of the Adriatic coastline. Valli di Comacchio, peaceful and rich in nature, my first time seeing flamingos in the wild before arriving in the historic city of Ravenna, known for its stunning Byzantine mosaics. Very hot sunny weather with no shade made this ride not for the faint of heart.
